Two ladies had lived together for many years. Since they were now retired, and never married, one of them began to worry about how just one of them would be able to take care of the large house they shared. She'd just been to the bank and realized that they were already spending more than their combined incomes. As they sipped their afternoon tea, she decided to break the bad news. She began, "I love you dearly, and we must be frank with each other." The younger lady was surprised, and a little puzzled by this statement.
She thought a moment and smiled, saying, "Very well, I'll be Frank for you tonight and you may be Frank for me tomorrow night." |
